Chippendale Piecrust Tilt-Top Tea Table, English, ca. 1760-1780, in mahogany, with birdcage mechanism over fluted column terminating in an elegant pedestal urn. On carved legs and feet. A large early 18th Century Japanese Arita Sleeve vase. Painted in green, yellow and turquoise enamels, iron red and gilt and underglaze blue. A superb and rare pair of very finely painted blue and white Dutch Delft stove tiles dating around 1730. Decorated with a pastoral landscape with naked greek goddesses resting within a Daniel Marot (1661-1752) inspired baroque cartouche panel. Retaining their original bricks in the back which makes them rather heavy.

Rare Pair of Dutch Delft Stove Tiles, circa 1730

This very tall and impressive octagonal shaped Imari vase depicts two unfolded screens with a landscape and architecture decoration and on top of it a rich pelmet-like fabric ending in a beautiful drapery on each side of the screen. The vase is in very good conditions, has been restored inly on the inside to secure some hairline cracks that dont go through the body. An identical example is shown in Wilhemsthal House, Germany, inv. nr. 4.1926.
