Large 18th Century Japanese Imari Porcelain Charger

A Large Japanese Imari charger, dating around 1700. Finely painted in typical Imari palette with underglaze blue on white background and overglaze gold and red floral decoration with elaborate panels depicting birds and shishi lions. Two long hairline cracks of circa 15 cm and 30 cm have been cleaned and consolidated, given the complexity of the decoration these are hardly visible and do not detract from the decorative and historic value of this charger.
