A highly decorative pair of mid-18th century Portuguese Brazilian rosewood high back chairs with beautiful scrolling pediment at the top with carved shell in the middle and on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet and ondulated stretchers. Finely carved shell on the skirt of the chair.Recently recaned so the seats are in a stable condition and safe to use. Custom-made squab cushions included (not shown in the pictures).

A large early 18th Century Japanese Arita Sleeve vase. Painted in green, yellow and turquoise enamels, iron red and gilt and underglaze blue. A George II games table, circa 1750, constructed from good quality solid mahogany. The table follows a typical form of the period with bold cabriole legs terminating on elegant proud standing pad feet. One leg swings open to support the top, which has candle stands and guinea or counter trays as well as a card drawer which is oak lined with a later handle. The table has good original pagination which means that there are colour differences throughout. Most notably the top has a mellow golden hue whilst the legs retain a darker colour.

George II Mahogany Folding Games Table, circa 1750

A late 18th century English lead planter. Solid lead in quatrefoil shape with panels showing lion heads and standing on four lion paws. Extremely solid and heavy item to withstand the whims of English weather. The planter has a lovely powder grey patina and is a rare survivor.
