An impressively large mid-18th century carved giltwood mirror in the Rococo style. The later shaped divided twin plate surmounted by a pierced acanthus leaf cresting flanked by icicles, the pierced ‘C’@ scroll sides with trailing oak leaves and acorns, above a pierced rocaille, double ‘C’ scroll and acanthus carved apron below. A pair of mid 18th century North Italian (Piedmont?) rococo polychrome girandoles, circa 1740. Each carved with high relief scrolls forming a pierced canopy at the top. The whole is surmounted by a polychrome foliate scroll and further enriched with entwining branches, leaves flowers and buds. Provenance: with Mallett, London. Illustrated in Mallett " Exceptional furniture and works of art ", 2010, pp. 142-143. Illustrated in Mallett, 2012 catalogue, where they feature in the famous yellow room of Ely House, pp 152-153.

A late 17th century octagonal shaped Imari vase unusually decorated in a very pale red and cobalt blue. Vase in perfect conditions, damages to the lid.

Japanese Imari Lidded Vase, circa 1700

This large Japanese porcelain charger dating circa 1700 features an unusual decoration: there is no under glaze blue as usually found in the Imari palette but the background is painted over glaze with a layer of black enamel: The result is very eye catching. This charger is particularly deep, has got big spur marks on the back (a sign of being early). Condition: There is a hairline crack of about 8 cm at h 11 that is displayed in picture nr 6. Rare object.

A charming pair of early 18th century Dutch Delft blue and white vases, Lamped. The bulbous long neck vases finely painted in underglaze blue. Depicting Chinese courtiers in a rocky landscape. Holland, circa 1720. Several comparable example at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Holland. Lamped and mounted on a hand carved and hand gilt wooden base, fitted with antiqued brass plate with UK fittings, brown silk flex and black UK plug. Can be converted for EU or US use. Lampshades are not included.
