This very tall and impressive octagonal shaped Imari vase depicts two unfolded screens with a landscape and architecture decoration and on top of it a rich pelmet-like fabric ending in a beautiful drapery on each side of the screen. The vase is in very good conditions, has been restored inly on the inside to secure some hairline cracks that dont go through the body. An identical example is shown in Wilhemsthal House, Germany, inv. nr. 4.1926.

An impressive pair of trumpet shaped Japanese Imari vases each one decorated with two white panels of underglaze blue scrolling flowers on a dark blue and gold background. Conditions: one is perfect, the other has a couple of hairline cracks restored for about 25-30 cmIdentical examples:-British Museum, London-Galleria di Palazzo Spinola, Genoa, Italy.

Pair of Japanese Imari Sleeve Vases, circa 1700

A large late 17th century Japanese octagonal Arita blue and white vase, circa 1680. The vase is of octagonal baluster form, boldly painted with rocks and large blossoming foliage composed around the entire body within stylized borders. This vase has exceptionally good dark and light blue glaze saturation as well as virtuoso decoration stylistically typical of this period. As the vase has a hairline crack and a reduced neck we have made it into a fabulous lamp. It has a handmade wood octagonal gilded lid and a hand-turned gilded base.

An impressive Southern Italian (Naples or Palermo) carved giltwood console table. First half of the 18th Century (1740). In full Rococo style and retaining most of its original gilding. Beautiful red French marble top.
