A large pair of octagonal shaped Japanese Imari vases dating from circa 1700-1720 featuring an intricate and colorful decorative scheme: Five shaped panels containing birds, trees and bridges on a flowers background. Condition: One vase is perfect, one has a small chip at the neck measuring circa 4 cm and professionally restored (see image nr. 4). Lamped with a giltwood base and brass top.
